“In 2003, I was in a 4-car pileup accident in Dallas which caused severe injury to L4-5 and L5-S1 of my spine. Before coming to you in 2004, I had discectomy surgery, cauterization of nerves and several procedures and pain management injections. Nothing helped. Then I came to see you and you suggested my best and only option, after all those failed procedures, was to have two levels of disc replacement.
I took your medical advice and went to Bordeaux, France and had disc replacement surgery with Dr. Jean-Charles LeHuec. He implanted the Maverick at L5-S1 and caged L4-5. I stayed in Bordeaux for several weeks rehabbing and getting out walking the beautiful streets of South France – just taking it easy. When I returned to the states, I continued physical therapy for 6-8 months or so.
As a result of your invaluable medical advice and the amazing surgeon Dr. LeHuec, I AM PAIN FREE FOR OVER 2 DECADES NOW! And have a pretty awesome recovery experience in France.
